EPP (expanded Polypropylene) is a foam made of expanded, primarily closed-cell foam plastics. The thermoplastic plastic is processed to Grupor® mouldings using the latest foam machines. The manufacture and processing of EPP Grupor® is completed in an environmentally friendly way without FCKW.

Applications:
The high level of recovery properties virtually predestines EPP for use in the automobile industry, e.g. as a passive security feature in bumpers or as knee protection in steering column linings and in many other components. By the same token, EPP lends itself to the protection of sensitive components and devices or as containers and carriers for transport. Boxes made of EPP can be reused for years and can be transported in an easy and environmentally friendly manner.
